Questions

Can NZ Super be paid into a ClearDebt Trust Account?

Yes. You can appoint ClearDebt to act as your Work and Income Agent and instruct them to redirect your Super to your ClearDebt Trust Account.

I hold Enduring Power of Attorney for my parent. Can I set this up?

Yes. We need your parent’s photo ID and proof of address to meet our anti-money laundering (AML) obligations. We can then give you the information you need to set up their income redirection.

Will they still have spending money?

It depends on their income and expenses, but typically we pay their nominated bills and transfer the balance left over to their nominated bank account, so they know it’s theirs to spend.
